Shayna Maidel
Stand in Assistant Stage Manager
I was fortunate enough to be ask to stand in for the asm for a week during rehearsals. I helped with the making of the Prop sheet and rehearsal run sheet. During rehearsal I also helped with scene transitions and lines when called.
Dresser
Before I was the stand in for the asm I was asked to be a stand in for a dresser that was out of a weekend. I came in during a show day watched her do the track. Did it with her watching me, then Ran a couple shows while she had a conflict and was sick. once she was back a couple days later I was asked to cover for the other dresser who was not feeling well. So I learned and covered her track for the following four shows.
Xanadu
Spot-Op
Over the summer of 2022 I worked on Xanadu in Laguna Beach and the Laguna Playhouse. I was a spot-op for the run of the show.
Mid summer of 2022 I joined Musical Theater West as deck crew for their production of grease. Unfortunately I do not have any photos from the show.

Summer of 2022 is when I started working in theaters on shows. Before that I worked for a year at Chipotle in many different areas of the store. The start of summer in 2022 I started working at Segerstrom Center of Performing Arts as Event Crew Operations, and now an Event Tech for them.
