Gift of The Last Tree
This was a devised piece written by the actor. So while not having a printed script we had to type of the script after the actors write in their journals.
So blocking was not traditional written into a script it had to be typed.
For this show the set was a table, stairs, and some acting boxes. Because of this it was an easier process to make large set movements chart for the actors and management to look at and see if it was correct during rehearsal.
Part of being in the Saddleback College Theater you get to work on the shows in any area. So I was able to help make Athorn’s costume.
So what you see to the left is the costume for Athorn the oldest and wise of the Gods. His costume was a grass skirt and corset with bark sewn on and moss glued on.
