About the Show
This Show was produced by Apples and Oranges. It was written by Pamela Winslow Kashani and Directed by Tim Kashani. It is about a young girl who had been working on her science fair project, but during a fight with her younger sibling the machine transports them to another world full of magic. With the help of QED a magic Winter Fairy showing Lumina that the magic is inside her they find their way home and fix the machine. This story shows children that you can have a dream but you must work for it as well as believe in it.
I was the Assistant Stage Manager / Lead Deck. In charge of the run and prop sheets, along with keeping the never ending changes of the script up to date along with the blocking. This show Ran at the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana that ran December 16, 2022 till January 8, 2023. I did work on it again for the 2023/2024 season when the show came back for the winter.
November of 2024 I return to this wonderful show, as the primary assistant stage manager and swing stage manager. With being the swing I was more involved with reports and was able to have a couple days where I was able to call the show. Part of my role was to set up everything when I got in. Tech, Props, Mics, Dressing rooms, if needed I would help with take care of robot our puppet.
